I am also a dscendent of the Monroe/West Monroe Caples. My great grandmother is Bessie Caples, whom I believe is a daughter of Alford and Angie. Bessie married Wiley Jordan Wheeler, Jr. They had 6 children that lived to adulthood. One was my grandfather James Otis Wheeler. If you have any other info on the ancestery, I would love to hear it.
