I have really enjoyed this posting. My 4g grandfather was William Caples (12 years youngr brother of Robert) who moved with his family to Missouri and then to Oregon. I am curious about the Tracy family--It appears that Robert married Eleanor; William married Harriett and Charles Caples (also a brother) married both Mildred and THEN Matilda before he married Elizabeth Waud! PHEW--they must have been an appealing group of sisters.

Is there any way I can learn about some of the other sketches in this interesting book?
