I am a descent of William Capell who settled in Maryland in 1635 from Herefordshire,
England. William had 3 sons--Benjamin, Thomas, and Robert. I am descended from Robert. The book I have on the Caples genealogy are the descendents of Robert. There is a Sammuel listed but he was born in
1783--left Maryland and settled and died in
Ohio in 1869. Your Sammuel must be related to Benjamin or Thomas. I would contact the Historical Society for Baltimore County and
see if they could help you with your research. Good Luck
