I am also from the Caples in Monroe/West Monroe, LA.
Here is what I have so far on my family.
Alford Caples married Angie ?.
They had (not necessarily in this order) Gene, Joe, Sam, Albert, Ollie, Jeff, Monroe, Mary, Bessie, Nora, Nellie, and Rosie Lee.
Ollie and Jeff marrried sisters, Maude and Lela Mae Clark.
Jeff and Lela had 3 sons that lived to adulthood, J.L., Billy, and Courtney.
Monroe married Iteria Fox and had 6 children, Floy, Charles, Clarence, Bobby, Sue, and Ginger.
Rosie Lee married Walter Christian Hoy, Sr. They had several children, I think about 6.
