Further to my entry of the 16th Sept 2001. I have discovered the following info:
The parents of Ellen Capewell were Charles and Bessy Capewell. Bessy nee Reed or Reid died when Ellen was born.
Charles (Charlie Capewell) died in a Pit Accident when Ellen was approx 4 years old in Nov 1872. Who brought Ellen up?
Any info on Ellen or the Pit Accident would be appreciated
