I'm quite amazed at the number of people with the surname Capes that I have come across so far! I didn't realise it was such a 'usual' name. I would be interested to correspond with anybody who has any information on the Capes family in the Midlands, England, particularly around the Burton-on-Trent (Staffordshire) and Derbyshire area. I would also be more than happy to establish contact with other people with the same surname whereever they may be in this small world!
