Seeking descendants of Confederate Lt. Col. Henry D. Capers, 1861-65 conflict. Pre-war, Henry Capers was in command of the Marietta Military Institute. In June 1864 Lt. Col. Capers was badly wounded at the battle of Cold Harbor. What became of him?
