Thanks for correcting my information. I had a feeling that some of it was wrong. I would very much like some info. on the family back to 1792. I was also interested if there was anyone in the family that fought in the Civil War. I've also heard of a Cherekee Indian connection with either the Capes or the Strawns.
William F. Cape and Julie Strawn were my wife's great grandparents. William's daughter Edna Ruth Cape is my wife's grandmother. She lives in Cincinnati, Ohio.
I am also interested in William F. Cape's service in World War I.
I was told by the family that Imagene Cape has the family bible. She lives in Augusta, Georgia.
