Hi Joe,
I am researching my tri-racial line of WEEDEN,WHILDEN,WEELDON/BROWN and making NO connections.
KNOW that the CANTY surname somehow connects to my line and may be related as the families in Hartford, CT were close.
Wondering if any of my surnames look familiar to you as
I believe some info of the Indian ancestry is what I need
to figure out my SC/NC family line.
Believe that my WEELDONS were slaves in SC, but fail to
find any kin or anyone who knows of my surnames.
My ggrandmother, CHARATA BROWN, mulatto, was born 1833 NC,
but I have yet to find info of HER or HER line, either.
Hope you can help.
Sincerely,
carol wheeldin warren.
