I couldnt believe it when I came across this site! I think you are talking about my grandfather Timothy Edward (known as Ted). He moved to Bedfordhire during WW2 with my grandmother (Magolata Difalco) and my father (Denis) He rarely spoke about his siblings, but I remember him talking about his younger brother who drowned in the Thames and a sister 'Jo'. I also remember him telling me that his mother was an excellent irish dancer who ?died in childbirth ?when and his parents were from Cork. Before moving to Beds. the family lived in the East End around the Wapping/Bermondsey area.
I will be really interested in any information that is found because like most people I didnt really ask many questions when he was alive or to my father who died in 1990.
