Hi James Cantey
I am doing research on James N. Canty they were on the 1870 Lowndes County Census. I was wondering were your Cantys came from. I am looking for the decendants of a James Canty who was the brother of My Susan Ellen Canty. For I found them living on the 1910 Tallapoosa County Census together. I would love to know more about this family for I know they had a plantation in Alabama back in 1860. My father in law told me storyies about his grand mother. My Email is pmaddox@entercomp.com. Thanks Phyllis Maddox
