I noticed an EDWARD CANTY, emigrated from Great Britain, on the Washington state 1880 census.

My grandmother, Mary E. Canty, possibly born in Philly around 1900, is difficult to trace. Her marriage certificate states pob as PA. However, all attempts at locating a pa birth cert have failed. i couldn't locate her on the 1920 or 1910 pa and nj census. her parents are listed on marriage cert as edward canty of great britain and ella quinn of ireland. i haven't found either of them yet either.
good luck!
