I'm not sure how the coat of arms system works in continental Europe, but in Britain, there is no such thing as a coat of arms for everyone of a certain name (Ex: Smythe Coat of Arms) Coats of Arms were granted to individuals only - and were not even passed down in their exact form to the heirs in a family. Consider designing your own - that would be much more "authentic." Sorry to rain on your parade.
