I forgot to mention, my mother said that in Gen. Bravo there was also a Felipe Cantu who was a doctor. My mother, as many young women did at that time, went to the 6th grade and then taught school. If a job was not near the home, then they would often take up residence with another family so that they could work. My mother taught school at a very young age and lived with the family of that doctor.
