Delbert Ansel b.02Apr1908 d.12Mar1945, married first Bessie Bryson b.09Sep1905 d.22Jan1933(pneumonia) Children: Carl b.01Jun1927 d.2009, John D. b.22Sep1929 d.(don't have the date right now), Infant boy b./d.Jan1933(as result of Bessie's pneumonia). Married 2nd Carrie Mae Galloway b.03Jul1916 d.03Jul2000. Children: James Luther, Delbert Ansel Jr. b.22Apr1939 d.27Apr1967 (car wreck in Ohio), Derrill Winston, and Virginia. Sally Cleveland was not a servant but was a "part of this family" and was midwife to all the kids of James Samuel and Willie Ellen Russell Cantrell and she and Grandma Ellen were midwives for just about everyone in the community in those days and more than likely "Aunt Sally" was probably with Uncle Delbert and Aunt Bessie when the '30 census was done because of John D's birth in Sep1929.
Bessie was burried at Cheohee Baptist Church in Tamassee, SC where her Bryson family were, however, the infant son was burried in Neville Cemetary in Walhalla, SC probably because Grandma Ellen's mother was there.
