Brent, in March 2000, Warren Cantrell sent me records that show "Moses Cantrell married first Angeline Redmon ca 1825 in White Co,TN. She was born ca 1807 in NC and was the daughter of Benjamin and Lucy Zimmerman Redmon. In 1870 they were recorded in the 7th Civ.Dist. DeKalb Co, TN"
I do not know what his sources were, but his research was usually good. I do know that Moses Cantrell's daughter, Harriet H, married Jonathan Rufus Fuson, son of Thomas Jefferson and Aletha McIntire Fuson, and that Jonathan Rufus and Harriet had a daughter, Josephine, that married Jefferson Pack... this is a very complicated family because Jonathan Rufus fought on the Northern side in the Civil war.. when he and Harriet died within 18 months on each other and left 5 children(4girls,1 son)..they were raised by neighbors and her brother, Jessie R Cantrell.
