Canterbury DNA Test Results
Posted by: Don Schmidt Date: November 06, 2000 at 19:57:05

Dear Canterbury cousins,

The final and confirmed Y-chromosome DNA results have returned from Family Tree DNA. It appears that Jedithen Canterbury and John Canterbury (husband of Nancy Lowe) had exactly the same Y DNA sequences. Therefore, they are probably related. The results from the Asa Canterbury line show only one small difference in only one locus. They suspect that Asa is also related to the other Canterburys. More testing is being done on the Asa line.

Sincerely,

Don Schmidt
