His father was Phillip W Gentzler (changed to Cansler when he relocated to North Carolina). Phillip's father was Johan Conradt Gentzler. Migrated from Germany in 1749 on ship Elliot (sp?) through Philadelphia. Other spellings of the name include "gennsler, gontzler, kentzler). Notify Administrator about this message?
