I have more info for you. My husband is Alexander's youngest son. Alex also had (he died in 1980)sons James, William, Robert, John, daughters Jeanette, and Barbara. We have many nieces, nephews and so on.
Alexander (Dora's brother) married Katherin Helen Simpson. I will get my information together and e-mail you in greater detail.
We do remember that Dora May had children named Dorothy, Lee and Kathy plus many more.
Do you have any information on Alex & Dora's parents?
We also believe they are decendents of German immigrants.
The spelling was Kantzler.
Alex used to talk of an uncle who was a mathematician. We recently found a book written by Charles Cansler that gives great detail of their journey here. We still cannot officially link that part of the family directly to Alex.
