Abbeville SC Wills and Probates list a Thomas Henderson (wife: Elizabeth) who died in May 1841 with these children:
John Henderson;
Abigail Henderson (Gearin) husband Jacob Gearin;
Nathaniel Henderson (wife Mathilda);
Elizabeth Henderson Cansler(husband Wm or John Cansler)
Ann Henderson (husband John Cansler; children--John Cansler Jr.,Thomas Cansler (18+ yrs old); Nelson (16+), & Carroll (14+).
Is the Tom Cansler mentioned in this will the same Tom Cansler who lived near Gadsden AL in the 1870s? I seek info on a Tom Cansler who died near Gadsden AL about 1900--maybe in a "poorhouse" according to a letter I have found.
