Thomas C. Cannon was married twice, died 1818. His first wife was Rachel Coyle, children: Ross, Ruth. Thomas, Moses b.abt. 1782, John b. abt. 1787, Rachel b. abt. 1788 and Rebecca. His second wife was Margaret Heath; children: Margaret, William N., James Satterfield, and Samuel. I have no data on the children of the first marriage, which I desire to add to my file. Do you have the origin and parentage of Thomas C. Cannon? In several documents, the letters JP follows his name, denoting Justice of the Peace and in the 1810 Census esquire appears after his name, therefore I assume he was an attorney. A Jane Cannon is on the 1850 Census Hickory Twp., Mercer County., Household No. 220: Joseph Clark 30, Elizabeth Clark 27, Martha J. Robison 6 and Jane Cannon 61. Also see my posting of this date to Paula Good's query. farm@jps
