Your great grandfather was my grandmothers sister, Mary Jane. Send me your snail mail address and I will send you all that I have on the Cannon line, which is about 117 pages . We went back to Ephriam I , gen 4, then Joh II; John I and then the unknown Cannon, which may have been Rich, we have't proved that...they have Rich Cannons line on a CD on WFT...James Henry, who married Susan Emaline Brooks was the son of Ephriam III and Mary Davis Cannon. They had Elias, John , Martha Ann, Vernie , James Henry and Jesse A. I have a copy of Jesse A's war papers in the civil war and think I have James Henry's.. He lived in Choctaw County, Ms., now Montgomery County, The signature date on the land patent is May 1, 1860. He was in the 1st Ms. Light Artillery Co C., died Nov 15, 1862 at oxford of diarrhoea..He was a Sergeant when he died. He was 34 at that time, complexion air, light hair and blue eyes. OD McElroy of French Camp has extensive material on him, he is the gggrandson of J.H.
