I'm somewhat new to Genealogy forums, but very interested in your notes about the Mercer County, PA Canon/Cannon families. I've been able to trace my lineage to
- Archibald Douglas Canon Born 1846 in Mercer County, PA
- Archibald was s/o Thomas W. Canon, also of Mercer County.
- Thomas W. Canon had 9 children over two marriages:
- Marcus R Canon
- Archibald Douglass Canon
- Melissa Jone Canon
- Theresa Canon
- Permilia Canon
- Susan Jane Canon
- Collie Canon
- Thomas Canon
- Nellie Canon
