Do you have there a center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints?I think The family History have microfilm census and Church records.May be you can ask for the ones of Oregon .And they can sent it to San Francisco so you can look at it in thecenter ask for the ones that can interest you.In Spain they do that for the ones in Europe.I hope they do thesame in U.S.A.You see the s can have be added to the name.Im trying to get a death certificate from a great grand father Irish american he died on a boat from Brasil to New-York or New Jersey I even Know
