If you sign "Merche" and I sign "Mercedes Marquesa" no way we can be confused for each other. Tambien queria darte las gracias por toda la imformacion que que nos diste sobre los Cano de Espana. Muy interesante todo. It seems that our Cano lines may connect at some point, but since your Cano's arrived in the USA in the 1800's and my Cano's have been in Mexico since at least 1700...it could be that we connect somewhere in Spain but earlier in our trees, maybe mid 1700's or 1600's. Los Cano empezaron a llegar a Mexico en los 1500's. Fueron dos or tress Cano's los que llegaron. Puede ser que fueron hermanos o parientes, pero de eso nadie esta seguro. Tendremos que averiguar un poco mas para confirmarlo.
You English is very good, Merche, I think much better than my Spanish, so don't hesitate to write in either language.
