Dear David,
Thank you for the information you posted on Benjamin & Jeremiah Cannon. I am a fourth great-grandauther of Jeremish Cannon. I didn't know what his fathers name was.
I have the will of Jeremiah Cannon from the Library of Virginia. It only states Benjamin, William and Thomas as sons. They had a daughter named Francis who married James Walker. Both died in Jefferson co. TN about 1801. Francis is not named in the will. The will is dated June 16, 1767.Jeremiah was married to Elizabeth Elam. Havn't been able to find any information on her.
The Cannon family moved to TN then to AL then some moved on to MS. My line moved on the Texas sometime about 1875 after the civil war.
I have my line from TN to Texas. Are you related to the Cannons?
