Hello all you other Cannells,
My Great Grandfather was Berty Cannell - who wrote the book 'From Monk to Busman' - needless to say thats what he did. His son, Arthur, my Grandad was in the mertoplitain police force and also served in the Army during the war. Does anyone know of my G.Grandfathers book or where to obtain a copy. I have read a copy from the library , but I would like to own one. I am also under the impression that we originated from the Isle of Man, and apparently France way before that.
