I think you should check out the BAIN and GARRON names in Digby, Shelburne, and Yarmouth County of NS. As I believe you know, your name PENCE is always spelled PENTZ in NS and most of them are between Shelburne and Lunenburg on the South Shore (Atlantic-facing side) with one small group who somehow ended up far away in Pictou County north of Halifax (in places like New Glasgow, Westville, and Hopewell). They are related to the other PENTZ people.
