Many thanks for your reply. It is good to hear from somebody associated with the Canns.
Edith, the daughter of Harriet Cann and John Dewhirst was my grandmother although I never met her. She married Benjamin Hardaker and had at least one child, my father Stanley born in Bradford, Yorkshire, England in 1905.
I would love to hear more about the Canns from you sometime.
