Looking for information on my great great grandfather James Dane Cann. He married Harriet Killam in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia on 24 January 1842. I think he was born 3 December 1816. They had at least two children, James born about 1843 and Harriet born about 1845. James Dane Cann was a sea captain. When Harriet was married in 1873 she was living in Bradford, Yorkshire, England. I would be grateful of any help I recieve. I would especially like advice about how to obtain certificates from Canada as I living in the British Isles!
