I am looking for information on the actor William Conrad (aka William Cann)-- especially his family lineage. Mr. Conrad was sometimes credited as Bill Conrad or William Darnoc, and starred in the television series "Jake and the Fat Man". He also provided the narration for "The Bullwinkle Show" and several other series.
According to the IMDb, he was born Sept. 27, 1920 in Louisville, Kentucky and died February 11, 1994 in Hollywood, California. Mr. Conrad was my maternal grandfather's second cousin, and as my grandfather died many years ago it has been difficult to research his side of the family. What I do know from my grandmother is that the two spent a lot of time together growing up. My grandfather (Walker Preston Brown) was born and raised in Texas, and his side of the family visited William regularly after William's family relocated to California. It is quite likely that there are surviving family members in both Kentucky and California.
