My grandfather was Joseph Aaron Cann born Feb. 23, 1880 in South Ohio, Nova Scotia Canada. He emigrated to Mount Vernon, Washington around 1919. I am his granddaughter by the son of his second marriage. Joseph's citizenship/nationality at time of his naturalization (U.S.) was listed as Scotch and I am interested in tracing the origins of my family name to its Scottich root. Any help is appreciated.
