On a more careful look at the 1860 Obion Co. TN Census, I discovered that R. B. CANE, listed in Dist. 7, whom I mentioned in my previous message, was a female head of household without a husband. This family must have lived in Kentucky around 1852 since the youngest child, a daughter, P. A. was listed as having been born in KY. All other children were born in TN. R. B., herself was born in KY. Thanks again.
