Very interesting. We only know back as far as my Grandfather Charlie Candy who lived in Weyburn, Saskatchewan until his death in 1988. We know his fathers name was Harry and that they came from the Toronto area, but we do not know much about the history other than that. Charlie had a son and a daughter with Beatrice Pope - Garry and Sharon. Garry is my father. I would be interested if anyone knows more about the history.
