I am a direct descendant of Samuel Francis Smith who wrote "America, my country tis of thee". I am interested to know which daughter married Mr. Candee. His daughter's were Mary White Smith, Carrie and Caroline was my gg Grandmother who married Rev. James Morton. Samuel Francis Smith was born in Boston, Mass., he was a babtist minister. He moved to Newton with his wife Mary White Smith. She was a direct descendant of Hezekiah and Hezebah Smith of Haverhill. I have a wealth of information on this side of the family.
Thanks for any help or info
