I am working on the Candy family whose name was Conde in France and would appreciate any information. My Candy relation was John Candy born 1805 in Bath, England. The story is that the family was named Conde' in France and fled to England during the Heugenot troubles. John' son Adolph was born 1843 or 1845 in Lexington, Ky. and told my father about the flight from France.

Thanks if you have anything.
