Just ran across this site - see that my son Kelly posted back in 2001 - unfortunately some of his info was incorrect - I have since found the following:
Charles Lee Candy (my father-in law)born 1900 in Ontario, siblings were as follows: Alexander, William, Ira, Florence, Gordon and Mary (known as Mame)
His father was George Candy also born in Canada (buried in Weyburn sask.) married to Anna Minerva Eliza Copeman (buried in Aylmer, Ontario). George had two sisters; Mary (died at age 2) and Ellen (Ellen married a Zavitz and died at age 31).
George's father was Alexander who married Elizabeth Marchant (she subsequently married a Geen after Alexander died. - they are buried in the Aylmer cemetery in Ontario.
That's the extent of the knowledge I have unearthed - wonder if you might have any info to add.
