Candy Family in New York?

I am just begining to look for Candy family members. My father was Byron Candy from the Buffalo NY area. His father Jack was raised in Toronto area of Canada and was the brother of Sydney also from Toronto area of Canada. Does this ring a bell for anyone out there?
