Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

I made one glaring mistake. John Candler, Jr. (1765-1832) was NOT the brother of Daniel Candler (1788-1860), he was the uncle.
Daniel Candler (1788-1860) was the son of James Candler (c1756-1826) who was the brother of John Candler, Jr.
The father of James and John, Jr. was, obviously, John Candler, Sr. (c1730-1802)
John was the son of the original Daniel Candler at South River, VA.(now Lynchburg-Candlers Mountain). He was Daniel Candler (c1700-1766).
