My Saies family has at least 2 people with CANAVAN as a middle name:

John Canavan SAIES b 1888, son of George Boyd SAIES from Haverfordwest Wales..lived Sth Australia, Killed in WW1 aged 20

Jean Canavan SAIES, daughter of Robert and Gladys SAIES ,Granddaughter of Charles S Saies b 1879 in WALES.

If anyone can help with how the name might have cropped up I would be most grateful.
