I am trying to locate information about Stephen Canavan and his wife, whose last name was Grogan (either Mary or Kate). The wife was a sister of my grandfather, Patrick Grogan, son of Michael Grogan and ___ Cunningham, Co. Westmeath.
There is a descendant from this marriage, but unfortunately she is elderly and cannot assist.
The last known place for Stephen and his widow is Clifden Co. Galway. After that the widow moved to a suburb of Dublin where she resides with her daughter.
Finding information about this couple will help me confirm my grandfather's genealogy and birthplace.
