There are a quite few of us! You can probably trace the line back to Francisco Canales and Mexico City (Abt 1630), on this side of the pond. Or try Antonio Canales a
merchant in Monterrey in the 1650s. You will find the majority of his descendants in the Texas-Mexico border towns, ranches and cities.
