Looking for Family Tie: CANADY, CARROLL, FLANAGAN
Posted by: Lisa Reed (ID *****1771) Date: January 12, 2003 at 12:57:25

Willing to pay for traceable, documented evidence of the following family tie: George and Nancy (Carroll) FLANAGAN had a daughter, Amanda Kizziah FLANAGAN, b. 30 Dec. 1828 in Campbell, Georgia. Amanda m. Milton Ebenezer CANADY (b. 24 Sept 1824 in Putnam, GA) on 22 Jan 1848 in Coosa, ALA. Amanda d. 2 Apr 1877 or 1878 in Elmore, ALA.

Since Amanda left home prior to the 1850 ALA census, I need documented proof of a tie b/w Amanda and any family member living in the household in the 1850 census: George, Nancy, Martha, C. Wilburn, Seaborn, Giles or James. Documentation cannot be family history, unless the history is in print with traceable sources included. I am hoping that someone has a family bible, dated prior to 1920/1930 that might prove this tie, or knowledge of a will, or probate record that I have been unable to locate. THANKS in advance!
