I am looking for a death record for my gr-gr-grandfather, Manuel (de or da) Rosa/Roza. He immigrated from the Azores (Portugal) but was a miner in Camptonville and Pike Calif. in the 1870-1893 or so when I loose track of him. His wife appears as a widow in 1900 and was said to "never want to talk about it" (what happened to him. Her brothers John and George Porter (also miners) are listed in Dawson City. They were said to have made some money in the Klondike which they invested in a SF business in the early 1900's.
