Hello~
I am doing research on Hans Neilson/Nelson who married Sophie Barber around 1858. They had a large family with children being born in Fort Simpson, Fort Nelson, in the Peels River area. My g grandfather was their youngest child being born in Prince Albert Sask. I do know Sophie was of DogRib ancestry according to the census records. Her children where listed as "halfbreed dogrib".
Would really appreciate any info on Sophie's parentage or anything at this point. I believe she would have been Anglican as Hans was.
