My g.g.g.grandmother was an Elizabeth Kunkel b Pennsylvania who married a Joseph Dunkel, moved around in Iowa. One of their dtrs married my g.g.grandfather and he brought the family to southwest part of Saskatchewan. I don't know of any Kunkels that came but I can certainly check. I don't live in Saskatchewan anymore but I still have family there.

Family lore was the Kunkels were from Bavaria.
