OBITUARY - Saskatoon Star Phoenix - May 26 1962
Ropposch - The death of Mrs. Helen Ropposch (nee Werner), age 58 years of 706 Third Avenue, north, Saskatoon, occurred in a local hospital on May 25th. Prayers will be offered at St. Paul's Cathedral at 8.15 p.m. Sunday May 27. The funeral service will be held on Monday May 28 at 10 a.m. from McKague's Funeral Home. Surviving are her loving husband, John; three daughters, Mrs. Elise Boeschen and Mrs. Helen Hnatuk of Delise, Mrs. Charlotte Murray of Saskatoon; ten grandchildren; one brother, John Werner, Pittsburgh, U.S.A, and three sisters, Lena in Miami, Florida, Emma in Pittsburgh, and Rose in Austria. Born in St. Martin a/d Raab Austria, Mrs. Ropposch came west 35 years ago to Saskatchewan and settled in Saskatoon. Burial will be mdae in the Roman Catholic Cemetery.

Mrs. Helen Ropposch, a resident of Saskatchewan for the last 35 years, died Friday in a local hospital. Mrs. Ropposch, 58, of 706 3rd Ave., north, was born in Austria and coming to Canada and Saskatoon in 1927.
She is survived by her husband, John; three daughters, Mrs. Charlotte Murray, Saskatoon, Mrs. Elise Boeschen and Mrs. Helen Hnatuk, both of Delisle, ten grandchildren, one brother and three sisters.
Prayers will be offered at St. Paul's Cathedral Sunday evening at 8.15. The funeral service will be held Monday morning at 10 o'clock with burial in the Roman Catholic Cemetery.
McKague's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
I'd really love to contact the family because I've done a lot of research on the Ropposch family!
