He had a sister named Jessie Newsham, a brother named Duncan, possibly another brother named Victor. Angus Campbell, his father, was born in Glasgow, and Janet (Jessie Blair) was born in Kilmeny, Argyllshire. John was born in 1895 on the Isle of Islay. Ring any bells for you?
