I am trying to to find out more information on this family like when they got married. I have the family history on Norbert Belanger but I am trying to get more information on Elene Derochers daughter of James Derochers and Mary Floy. Norbert and Elene had one daughter Aldina but the family is not sure if their were any other children Aldina passed away in Dec. 2001. The family believes that Elene was a Cree Native from Meadowlake.
Can any one tell me where to go to find information on Native families. The Census for 1906 and 1911 show the name derocher but it does not show any first names. The family believes that there was a community of Derocher in the Meadowlake area does any one have any information on that.
