Can some kind person help by giving me advice as to how I might find family members who emigrated to Saskatchewan sometime between 1902 and the outbreak of the 1914-18 war ?
Joseph Remington WARWICK born 1865 at Thornaby, Yorkshire, England emigrated with his wife Ann Maria WARWICK nee WILSON and their son Remington WARWICK born 1897. Joseph was a "Timber Merchant" on the 1901 Census for England. I have found two records on the Saskatchewan Homestead Index as follows: JOSEPH REMINGTON WARWICK, 1178286, Part NW, Section 6, Township 28, Range 25, Meridian W2.
REMINGTON WARWICK,Part NE, Section 36, Township 52, Range 17, Meridian W3, Sub-division Part.
At the risk of sounding stupid I cannot interpret these references, I do know you can send for these records if you pay but is there any way of accessing more info without being charged.
Any help much appreciated.
Regards,
Craig Simpson
